Iconic Kassl colors are back

EDIT.
by Clara Griffiths

Clara Griffiths is the founder of The Origin of Food, as well as a host and food content creator. Half British, half Spanish, she was born and raised in Barcelona, under the Mediterranean sunshine and the allure of tapas culture.

She savours life’s simple pleasures—feeling the water on her feet in summer, reading a good book, or discovering her next favourite place to eat. For Clara, pleasure and work are intertwined, and she hopes it stays that way. “Life is short—best to enjoy it!”

Light

“Nothing beats the light in my London kitchen. I just love this space—it’s where I feel at peace when cooking, and good lighting only enhances the experience.”

Object

“My hairclip. A close friend once told me she dreamt I was wearing one, and from that moment, I swapped my old, uninspired hairband for it.”

Drink

“Is there anything more refined than someone pouring you sake, carefully honouring the ritual around it, making you pause, breathe and savour every taste? Probably not.”

Island

“I often think back to being in the wilds of Viñales, Cuba—horse riding through the jungle, feeling completely free and connected to nature. There’s nothing but you and the present moment.”

Artist

“Marria Pratts. There’s something about her paintings—the lack of neatness, the explosive colours and the beautiful chaos—that makes them so compelling. I’d love to have one of her large paintings in my living room.”

Time of the day

“There’s something about water, how it can wash away everything, reset you, refresh you. That precise moment, that time of day, is a blessing every day.”
