Kelly Rutherford’s world is shaped by movement, creativity, and a deep connection to the people and places around her. Raised in California, with its closeness to nature, she later made a life in New York before settling in Europe.
Her days begin with lists of thoughts, ideas, and small sparks of inspiration unfolding from the moment she wakes — part of an ever-present creative energy she describes as infinite. Surrounded by friends and fellow creatives, she finds constant inspiration in exchange, an openness that naturally draws her towards collaboration.
At home, life is grounded and warm: time with those she loves, and with her two mini dachshunds, Cappuccina and Twombly. It is within this balance of intimacy and imagination that her projects take shape, most recently a perfume created with her close friend Véronique Gabai — a reflection of her belief that the most meaningful work is made together, and with joy.

The scent is an ode to the rose, the region we both call home, to friendship, to love.”
